About Us

Founded in 2010, Langerman Foster Engineering Company has become the leading geotechnical and construction testing firm in our area.  Comprised of a staff who have been working together for decades.  We have completed thousands of projects in the Waco, Temple, Belton, Harker Heights, Killeen, and surrounding areas.


We pride ourselves on being responsive to our clients. We believe we have a reputation for performing quality work in a timely manner. We have served most of our clients for many years, and decades in some cases. Our firm is committed to helping our clients be successful by providing quality geotechnical engineering and construction testing services.

Our Team

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our team at LFE includes a mixture of talented field, laboratory, engineering, and administrative employees.  Individuals experience ranges from 1 year to over 30 years.  Most of our field and laboratory technicians have at least 10 years of experience.  


At a minimum our field technicians have ACI certifications for concrete testing and also certifications for performing nuclear density testintg.  Engineers are licensed in the State of Texas.

Scott M. Langerman, P.E.

Principle / Geotechnical Engineer


Founding principle of Langerman Foster Engineering Company. Responsible for all aspects of company operations, and has been working in Central Texas since 1992. Received both his bachelors and masters degrees in civil /geotechnical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
